My general approach when making a tree is to let the shape develop naturally, with slight modifications afterwards for general aesthetics and balance. This is what I will do if you don't order a specific tree shape.

I use floral wire for this. It is coated in a green plastic.

More of a linear arrangement like a fern, with leaves on alternating sides.

Uniform coils, which are then bent into loops/clusters. If the wire gauge is fine enough, I can flatten the spirals for a different effect.

Draped wire strands, crimped for texture.

The wire is doubled back for denser branch clusters. There are no leaf clusters; the branch ends in a single loop. Only for finer wire gauges. Primarily for pine trees.

Leaves done in a different color wire from the trunk. This customization can be paired with any of the other leaf styles except for Double Back or Willow.

Colored beads are threaded onto the wire as the leaves are shaped. This costs an additional $25 for a Medium tree and $50 for a Large. I don't generally do this for small trees.

Rocks found on my adventures in nature. Limited to what I have collected. If a specific kind of rock is desired, I am willing to try and find one for an additional fee. Typically attached with super glue.

Rocks can be coated with polyurethane to give it a more glossy finish and imitate the look of a wet rock. I can use matte, semi gloss, or gloss, but I recommend gloss. Typically attached with super glue.

$5 for a small resin base and $20 for a large resin base. The size of the base does not correlate directly with the size of the tree, though I usually put small trees on small bases and medium and large trees on large bases. Click on the picture to see more information about resin base options.

Tiny rocks glued onto a coaster. The tree is glued on top, then more rocks are added around the roots.

Using wire gauge less than 20 will result in a less detailed final look, but will be sturdier. This looks better with a larger tree.

Multiple colors of wire are twisted together for a more dynamic look.

Sculpted branches that, when viewed from the correct angle, will reveal heart shapes. Best with willows.

Fruit beads do not cover the tree as completely as beaded leaves.
